Sourced from old vines ranging between 40 and 60 years of age, this comes in at 12.6% alcohol. Silky, soft and light, this fruit-forward Baga is made in an accessible style. Despite the relatively low alcohol, the fruit seems ripe and delicious. It maintains the feel of the region too, always elegant and understated, with nary a hint of jamminess. There's not a lot of power showing, however, and it seems softer than some other versions of this I've seen, granting that they are not all here together. That's fine in many respects and appropriate for the position this holds in the lineup. So, this is ready to drink right now and it is quite delicious. That's a hint. I wouldn't expect it to turn into anything much more with extending aging, although it can certainly hold a bit. There were 13,000 bottles produced."\
